European Honeymoons

I was reading an article in Brides magazine's July 2010 issue on European Honeymoons for less. I wanted to share some of the highlights with you...

Fabulous hotels under $300...

London, England - City Inn Westminster: Great central location with rooms being minimalist-chic, with iMacs as TVs. You can even sign into Skype to call home!

Paris, France - Hotel La Perle: Renovated 17th century building in the heart of St. Germain des Pres.

St. Jean de Luz, France - La Reserve: Located on France's southwest coast and great for couples who prefer chilling by the ocean over clubbing in nearby Biarritz. Most rooms have a balcony and there is a gorgeous infinity pool.

Hora, Greece - Anemomilos Apartments: Located in a sea-cliff village on the small isle of Folegandros.

Oia, Greece - Chelidonia Villas: Thing having a primo view on the superpricey isle of Santorini has to cost a fortune? Welcome to the Chelidonia Villas, where each of these cliff-top dwellings has a terrace overlooking the Aegean.

Dublin, Ireland - Number 31: This boutique property gets major props for its breakfast spread and for its luxe Hastens beds.

Florence, Italy - Palazzo Galletti: Palace turned Bed & Breakfast with 11 unique rooms.

Rome, Italy - Relais Le Clarisse: Located in the bohemian Trastevere neighborhood gives off a cool, Mediterranean vibe.

Madrid, Spain - Vincci Soho: Rooms here have sex appeal to spare with flamenco red pillows, plump beds, dark-wood floors, and slate bathrooms with double vanities. The Prado Museum is just a ten minute walk away.

Celebrity Solstice Cruise Review

We sailed 7 nights to the Eastern Caribbean on the Celebrity Cruises' Solstice ship. We had an amazing vacation and learned a lot about Celebrity and their newest class of ships. The rooms were spacious and clean, the entire staff was wonderful, the food was delicious and fresh with lots of ...options to choose from, the Specialty Dining at The Tuscan Grill was our absolute favorite, the nightly shows were very entertaining and my family looked forward to them every night, the entire ship was organized and clean, and there was a wide variety of activities to enjoy on the ship throughout the day with our favorite being the trivia. I would recommend Celebrity Solstice to all ages. We couldn't have asked for a better cruising experience!
